Well it’s not really a book about diagrams. Are there diagrams in it? Sure, but I was hoping for quality content covering various architectural diagrams. The author might have just made all of the diagrams or perhaps copy and pasted some. Either way it’s not good and it covers a very very small sector of the world of architectural diagrams. I wouldn’t recommend this book, in fact I donated my copy to a thrift store. If you’re looking for a quality architectural diagram book go with Precedents in Architecture instead—that’s if you want a legit scholarly experience. I love that book. It’s straight black ink on paper. Or for a more step-by-step book in color you could check out Diagramming the Big Idea—the organization isn’t great (it’s actually sort of confusing) but I promise you will be exposed to high quality content and detailed diagrammatic analysis. Sadly you will not encounter any of this with the book under review here.
