It had a difect the front part of the shoes the rubber was suppost to be glue but it wasnt but i didnt return it because i need does shoes for the winter so i had to glue it my selfI have searched for a good hunting boot that gives me the right support where needed, but most of all is comfortable. I’m 5’7” 300lbs with falling arches on my left foot and completely collapsed arches on my right courtesy of Uncle Sam. This is that boot.THE BAD- This boot is very narrow so order the wides. I usually wear a size 10R, wound up ordering the size 10.5EW.THE GOOD- Overall aesthetic is good. Build quality seems pretty decent, on par, with Wolverine which I had success with in the past.Once you get the correct size and width zeroed in you have it made. The break in period was almost nonexistent. The boots were comfortable out of the box. The boot provides good ankle support I have used this boot in flat and hilly terrain. So far so good.It provides good support for my arches. Normally after humping it deep into public land then packing out a deer, my feet are dead. Not with these. It’s made that aspect enjoyable and not a struggle to put one foot in front of the other.Waterproof is holding up well. Keeps my feet dry and with a single pair of wool socks my feet are comfortable at sub-36 degrees.Over all impression is you may have to try on multiple sizes to find the best fit, but once you do your golden. Good quality boot, excellent support, outstanding comfort. 10/10 would recommend.I bought these boots with the intention of cold weather use. I have used them several times for hunting and other cold weather activities. They fit as expected and are very comfortable. When wearing the boot without thicker wool socks the tongue bunches a little on the from of the foot. I do not have this issue when wearing wool socks.I have spent several mornings in the tree stand in teen temperatures and my feet have stayed warm.I have used in water up to about 5" deep and they have stayed perfectly dry.Would recommend.Real facts. Wolverine W200081 Manistee boots are nothing compared to the Wolverine W30082 Ridgeline Xtreme that Wolverine stopped making. The only good thing that is better on the Manistee that the Ridgeline Xtreme didn't have was the all leather up the rear of the boot. The Ridgeline would bust apart back at that location because of them not being all leather. The Mainstee has less insulation, is shorter and is hard and slow to take off compared to the Ridgeline Xtreme style. Other people all over the net have stated what I have stated here. Wolverine should produce the Ridgeline Xtreme with leather all the way up the rear like the Mainstee. It would be the best boot style ever made.my son loved the design of his new boots. iam happy that they had his size. when he needs another pair iam coming back to this company.Extremely comfortable and durable. They messed up on the tounge and it pokes while wearingFoot part fit ok, but upper shaft of boot way too small. Sides of boot barely covered tongue when laced up. Have worn Wolverine for years, not happy with these at all.
