This press is working great! I’m making field notebooks and journals, and it’s been a pleasure to use. I love that it’s adjustable to accommodate different projects. I can press two stacks of 25 field notebooks (3.5 x 5 inches) at once to remove the spring from the paper, which is really convenient. It would have been nice if it had a single screw to keep things perfectly even, but the two-screw system works just fine. The press is a bit on the lighter side, but with a little patience, it performs well. It works great for gluing single sheets together too. When I’m pressing books, I use wax paper between the books and the press—it makes cleanup much easier. This is a great starter press, but seasoned makers will appreciate it as well. While the price feels a little steep for what it is, it does work—and it works well!
