Unit costs are readily adjustable as detailed crew compositions/hourly rates are given (e.g. carpenters, iron workers, laborers, etc.) along with major equipment (crane, forklift, concrete pump, etc.) so one can tailor their costs by adding/subtracting elements or adjusting a specific cost for your area. Most other published cost information does not have the substantial detail versus RS Means.
